What resources are there in MN for people with disabilities?

There are many resources in the State of Minnesota for people with disabilities. Here at Life Fountain we wanted to highlight 5 resources that can be particularly helpful. We also included a short summary of the content of each resource!



Minnesota Department of Human Services


Call the DHS Information Desk at 651-431-2000 (TTY/TDD service: 800-627-3529)


DHS offers a variety of assistance with: Nutritional meal resources, finding appropriate housing, income assistance, deaf and hard of hearing resources, residential and treatment programs, program referrals that assist people to live as independently as possible as well as social security advocacy.

MN Council on Disability offers information on: the Adults with Disabilities Act, disability parking, service animals, assistive technology, transportation, building and residential access, and more.


The Arc of Minnesota

They offer many links to a variety of resources.


The Disability Hub MN


1-866-333-2466 or using a preferred relay service.

The Disability Hub MN is a free statewide resource network that assists with problems, how to navigate the system and plan for your future.
